SCENE 02 / THE BUILDER
Every builder starts somewhere.
Then they become someone who ships a world.
I'm Ayush Aryan — a B.Tech student at ITM Skills University (ISU) / ITM Group, currently in the Founder's Office at LetsUpgrade as a Product & Tech Intern.
I founded DESI DESTINY during college: a full-stack dating platform with authentication, profiles and matchmaking. I spend my days designing interfaces, shipping features, automating workflows with n8n, and training the next wave of GenAI developers.
I care about clean UX, scalable systems, and building products people actually feel.
“I don't just want to write code. I want to build things people remember.”
Education
B.Tech · Computer Science at ITM Skills University (ISU) / ITM Group (2023 — 2027).
Technology
Full-stack builder — React, Node.js, MongoDB, Firebase, Python — from idea to a live product.
Design
UI/UX intern at LetsUpgrade. End-to-end design, then UX research at Playbox TV.
Product building
Product & Tech Intern in LetsUpgrade's Founder's Office — experiments, not just tickets.
Entrepreneurship
Founded DESI DESTINY out of college: auth, profiles, matchmaking, consumer UI.
AI
n8n workflows, GenAI curriculum for 1000+ students, Paper Predictor.
Community
25+ workshops, 5 communities, Java cohorts on LetsUpgrade's YouTube.
Desi Destiny
The flagship: a dating platform built for meaningful relationships, tuned for Bharat.
SCENE 02 / HOW I BUILD
The machine behind the film.
FRONTEND
React and Tailwind are how I ship interfaces I can still redesign a week later.
- Why I used it
- React and Tailwind are how I ship interfaces I can still redesign a week later.
- Problem it solved
- Consumer and EdTech products live or die on pacing, hierarchy and motion.
- What I learned
- Motion is structure. Framer Motion and cinematic CSS are not decoration when they explain state.

SCENE 03 / THE EXPERIENCE
From intern to founder.
2025 — Present · Mumbai
What I worked on
- · Product and go-to-market experiments with the founder
- · Internal automations and AI workflows using n8n
What I learned
- Work in a founder's office is never just the ticket — it is the product question behind it.
- Internal AI workflows only matter if someone else can run them after you.
What I would do differently now
- I would document every automation I ship so it outlives the intern who built it.

SCENE 06 / THE AI LAB
AI as a workflow, not a trick.
Only experiments that appear in this portfolio. No invented agents, no vanity metrics.
Experiment 01
n8n AI workflows — LetsUpgrade
- Problem
- Founder's-office and trainer operations needed internal automations, not another dashboard nobody opens.
- AI approach
- Build AI-assisted workflows in n8n that sit next to real product and GTM experiments.
- Workflow
01A repeated internal loop appears
02Map the steps
03Automate with n8n
04Keep a human in the places that need judgment
- Technology
- n8nAI WorkflowsAutomation
- Result
- Internal automations and AI workflows used while working directly with the founder on product and GTM experiments. Specific run-counts are not listed in this portfolio.
- What I learned
- Automation is product work. If the workflow is wrong, the model does not save it.
Experiment 02
Paper Predictor
- Problem
- Years of school and board papers hide patterns that students cannot see by rereading.
- AI approach
- AI analyzes uploaded papers and surfaces the most probable next paper from pattern, not guesswork marketed as certainty.
- Workflow
01Upload 5 or 10 years of papers
02Analyze patterns
03Predict the most probable next paper
- Technology
- Next.jsPythonOpenAIVector DB
- Result
- An AI EdTech product listed in this portfolio as coming soon.
- What I learned
- Predictions must stay humble. The input is history, not destiny.
Experiment 03
GenAI curriculum & Java training
- Problem
- Cohorts needed GenAI that actually clicks — and Java teaching that holds up on a public YouTube channel.
- AI approach
- Design curriculum, then teach it. Simplify until a student can repeat it.
- Workflow
01Design the GenAI program
02Deliver to cohorts
03Train Java on LetsUpgrade's YouTube channel
04Tighten ops around delivery
- Technology
- GenAIJavaCurriculum
- Result
- GenAI program curriculum impacting 1000+ students, plus Java cohort training and streamlined trainer ops.
- What I learned
- Teaching is the hardest code review. Students find every gap.
SCENE 07 / THE LESSONS
Things I got wrong.
Growth notes from work that is already on this reel — not a confession invented for effect.
UX assumptions
Designing from products I admired
DESI DESTINY — I modeled scalable schemas with UX inspired by top consumer apps.
Studying a product is not the same as sitting with the person who will use yours. Inspiration can quietly become a substitute for conversation.
I still study great consumer apps. I just refuse to treat them as stand-ins for users.
Balancing startup and development
Wearing every hat on a college startup
Founder & CEO of DESI DESTINY while a B.Tech CSE student — auth, profiles, matchmaking, schema, UI.
Building the whole product myself taught me speed. It also taught me how easy it is to polish the wrong surface because nobody else is in the room to argue.
I still like owning the stack. I am slower to confuse motion with progress.
Technical tradeoffs
Automating before the next person can run it
n8n automations and AI workflows in the LetsUpgrade Founder's Office.
A clever workflow that lives in one intern's head is not an internal tool. It is a private trick.
If I cannot hand the workflow to someone else, I have not finished the job.
Product decisions
Touching the CMS before the loop is true
Playbox TV — UX research for an educational website, then application loops and CMS.
It is tempting to open the CMS because it feels like building. The loop is the product. The CMS is just where the loop is stored.
I try to write the user action before I touch the fields.
My professional story.
A live mirror of my LinkedIn — experience, education and skills, all in one place.
